Abbott Little led a team of consultants to complete a feasibility study for a new residential campus for emancipating foster youth, Emancipation Village. Located in Oakland, California, this project is a collaboration between the Alameda County Social Services Agency and Fred Finch Youth Center.
Abbott Little is working with local government agencies refine their approach to homelessness. Working with city staff, service providers, and community representative, we facilitate discussion, highlight best practices, and provide direct technical assistance to improve the system of care.
Abbott Little is assisting housing and mental health departments in several counties in allocating funds for their Mental Health Services Act housing programs. Assistance includes systems implementation, centralized referral planning, NOFA/RFP development, technical assistance to providers, and community input processes.
